This Ortovox Merino functional top has been specially developed for summer mountaineering. The cut-outs on the back and shoulders are positioned to prevent pressure points from a backpack. In addition, flat seams avoid chafing, and the highly breathable material blend of Merino wool and Tencel® promises quick drying without strong evaporative cooling as with synthetic fibers. The wafer-thin fabric (120g/m² material weight) is reinforced by a polyamide frame, which is interwoven with the natural fibers. Thanks to the antibacterial properties of the Merino-Tencel® combination, no odors develop even after heavy sweating.
