The feather-light Ortovox Trace Merino Windbreaker Jacket for men is extremely light with a fabric weight of 59g/m² and can be packed into a space-saving pouch in the chest pocket. The ultra-thin fabric is almost windproof due to its dense weave structure and also slightly water-repellent thanks to a PFC-free DWR impregnation. More than half of the main fabric in the front and back consists of the finest merino wool, which provides the necessary thermal retention and suppresses sweat odor. The fabric is very abrasion-resistant, and if it does get wet, it dries quickly. Elastic hems on the hood, sleeves, and hip area ensure a close fit of the windbreaker, so that the warming air cushions stay on the body. The cut is very body-hugging and designed for the merino windbreaker to be worn only over a T-shirt. If you want to wear a thin fleece underneath, you should choose one size larger (taking into account the increasing sleeve length). The jacket's range of use is versatile, from mountaineering to cycling and running.
