The merino midlayer is lightweight and packable relative to its high thermal performance and much more efficient than a comparably thick synthetic fleece. Equipped with thumb loops, a chin guard overlap, and plenty of pockets, the Fleecewool Jacket from the Norwegian merino specialist Aclima leaves nothing to be desired.
