WoolTerry Crewneck ♂ (terry cloth)
The Aclima WoolTerry Crewneck is made from a feather-light merino wool fabric, where the inside features a special loop knit construction (terry) that traps ample air pockets, thus offering excellent thermal performance despite its low fabric weight. Even with great exertion, sweat can be quickly absorbed and wicked away by the terry structure. This keeps the skin drier and warmer for longer. In addition, the fabric has a very soft feel and is extremely comfortable to wear. High elasticity and reliable prevention of sweat odor are further advantages of the material, making this Aclima underwear ideal for all types of winter sports, as well as for professional use outdoors. Furthermore, the modacrylic content enhances the flame-retardant and antistatic properties that wool naturally possesses. For this reason, military, fire departments, and police in Norway and other countries are equipped with Aclima WoolTerry products. However, the material is also popular among outdoor enthusiasts due to its outstanding warmth-to-weight ratio and high stability.
