The Ortovox Swisswool Piz Boe Jacket for women uses an environmentally friendly and functional filling made from Swiss virgin wool. At just 60 g/m², this wool insulation jacket is not only lightweight but also extremely packable, making it ideal for ski tours and high-altitude climbs, either as a warming mid-layer or as an outer layer during ascents.
Ortovox strategically employs 4-way elastic Airsolation inserts, along with the windproof and highly snow-resistant PERTEX® QUANTUM outer fabric as a protective shell. Ortovox developed the Piz Boe Jacket for demanding female alpinists who value excellent thermal retention even in damp conditions. The close-fitting, elastic-bound hood protects the head from rapid cooling. Merino stretch inserts in the underarm area promise maximum freedom of movement and breathability. Two front pockets are positioned to be easily accessible even with a backpack and can accommodate large items. Both the cuffs and the waistband feature elastic finishes, keeping wind and cold out.
