Streamwool Crewneck Reversible 400 ♀
This extremely warm Merino top for women features a double-sided construction, allowing it to be reversed between a smooth and a ribbed side depending on temperature and activity level. With a fabric weight of 400g/m², the Aclima Streamwool Crewneck clearly falls into the "extreme weather conditions" category. As a thick base layer, it acts as a "auxiliary heater" and is not only suitable for winter sports in double-digit sub-zero temperatures but is also the first choice for professional outdoor use, as it provides excellent heat retention even during periods of inactivity.
Wearing the ribbed side inwards creates additional warming air pockets and is recommended in this orientation for maximum thermal efficiency. However, during greater physical exertion, the ribbed side is turned outwards, so that a larger surface area and thus a wicking effect for sweat to the outside is created (capillary action). A thinner insert under the armpits prevents overheating.
Aclima underwear is inspired by the harsh Norwegian winters. In Norway, people know that compromises in equipment are not a good idea and have always valued the benefits of wool. State-of-the-art spinning technology and Scandinavian know-how, implemented in their own textile factory, create outstanding product quality.
