The Aclima WoolTerry Balaclava is made from a highly elastic merino wool fabric, where the inside features a special loop-knit construction (terry) that traps a lot of air, thus providing excellent thermal performance despite its low fabric weight. Even during exertion, sweat can be quickly absorbed and wicked away by the terry structure. This keeps the skin dry and warm for longer. Additionally, the fabric has a very soft feel and is extremely comfortable to wear. The high elasticity and good heat retention make this balaclava ideal for outdoor activities in sub-zero temperatures, as well as for professional use outdoors. Furthermore, the modacrylic content enhances the flame-retardant and antistatic properties that wool naturally possesses. For this reason, military, fire brigade, and police forces in Norway and other countries are equipped with Aclima WoolTerry products.
