The Devold Wool Mesh Balaclava is particularly permeable to vapor due to its net-like knitted merino wool, making it specially designed for strenuous activities in very cold conditions. Thanks to the air-permeable fabric structure, it is still easy to breathe even at a high heart rate, and the mesh fabric releases warmth back into the inhaled air upon exhalation. In heavy snowfall, the mouth and nose are protected without the fabric freezing, as the finely crimped wool fibers catch snow crystals on the outer surface. The balaclava's opening offers a wide field of vision and is also suitable for glasses wearers.
