Expedition Merino Silk Hoodie Women
The Devold Expedition Merino Silk Hoodie for women is a two-layer functional base layer for harsh winter conditions. The inside is made of 100% fine Merino wool, while the outside is reinforced with 10% silk for greater durability and is additionally treated to be water-repellent. This material combination offers excellent soft wearing comfort. The reinforced outside and seamless shoulder area are optimized for wearing a backpack, and a long cut prevents cold bridges at the transition to the trousers. Likewise, thumb loops prevent snow and wind from entering at the sleeves. The hood also functions as a balaclava and has breathing holes in the mouth area. The Merino wool prevents cooling down due to condensation moisture formed during exhalation. The mouthpiece can also be pulled under the chin due to the overlapping construction when oxygen demand increases during high exertion. The hood can also be easily pulled back and then functions as a high warming collar.
