Since 1879, the company Dale of Norway has been producing wool sweaters of the highest quality in the Norwegian town of the same name. It is one of the few Norwegian manufacturers that has defied the trend of relocating production to Asia. Manufacturing in its own factory allows for the best quality control, short transport routes, and preserves regional jobs.

 

 

In addition to robust Norwegian wool, merino wool from certified suppliers in South America is also used. For Dale of Norway, it is a matter of course to only process mulesing-free wool. In Norway's harsh climate, wool has always been valued as a reliable source of warmth. A Dale sweater is not only a long-term investment in terms of quality but also, thanks to its timeless design, the opposite of "fast fashion".
