Palgero Merino-SeaCell™ - Skin health you can wear

The special thing about the newly developed SeaCell™ fiber with Modal technology is that it was not only developed for functional aspects in sports, but also promotes skin health through the antioxidant effect of the brown algae incorporated into the fiber. The University of Jena has proven with the help of the recognized ABEL antioxidant test that the algae contained in the SeaCell™ fiber effectively capture free radicals. The algae sustainably harvested in the Icelandic fjords contain active ingredients that stimulate the cell regeneration process, which in turn can help relieve skin diseases and itching and has an anti-inflammatory effect. During activity and the resulting skin moisture, the vital substances from the algae (vitamins, minerals and trace elements) are released and an active exchange takes place between the SeaCell™ fiber and the skin.

The algae are dried and powdered and then integrated directly into the natural cellulose fibers at Lenzing AG in Austria using a patented process, so that their effect is retained even after numerous washes. Further processing takes place in Germany and in a complex process the SeaCell™ fiber is spun with 16.5 micron fine merino wool to form a full-twisted yarn, which significantly improves the stability and tear resistance of the material. The Palgero Merino-SeaCell™ underwear is tailored in Slovakia. The entire manufacturing process is therefore carried out in accordance with EU standards.

As functional underwear, the Palgero Merino-SeaCell™ fabric has a primarily cooling and quick-drying effect, meaning it can be used either at high performance levels or in high outside temperatures. Due to the ingredients of the algae and the natural UV protection of the merino wool, Palgero shirts can also be worn in extreme heat and sunlight. The cooling effect is particularly pleasant.
