Expedition Merino Silk Hoodie Men
The Devold Expedition Merino Silk Hoodie for men is a two-layer functional garment for harsh winter conditions. The inside is made of 100% fine merino wool, while the outside is reinforced with 10% silk for increased durability and is also water-repellent. This material combination offers an excellent soft wearing comfort. The reinforced outer side and a seamless shoulder area are optimized for carrying a backpack, and a long cut prevents cold bridges where it meets the trousers. Thumb loops also prevent snow and wind from entering at the sleeves. The hood doubles as a balaclava and features breathing holes in the mouth area. The merino wool prevents chilling due to condensation moisture created when exhaling. Thanks to the overlapping construction, the mouthpiece can also be pulled down under the chin when oxygen demand increases during high exertion. Likewise, the hood can be easily pulled back and then functions as a high warming collar.
