These extra warm merino hiking socks, in a classic thick knit style, offer excellent thermal performance even in icy cold temperatures, as well as an outstanding foot climate and a dry feel, thanks to their high merino wool content. In the Devold Outdoor Heavy Sock, nylon fibers are placed on the outside and in high-wear areas such as heels and toes to protect the wool from abrasion. The inside, in contact with the skin, offers comfortable cushioning through a looped knit structure made of the finest merino wool. Devold merino socks are produced in the company's own factory according to EU standards and exclusively with mulesing-free wool.
