The Icebreaker Hike+ Medium Crew for men are medium-thick hiking socks for cooler days and offer excellent comfort even on long hikes. These medium-cushioned socks feature an anatomically shaped toe box for a perfect fit, as well as external reinforcements for increased durability and support in the Achilles and instep area. Merino socks ensure a dry feeling, especially when used in waterproof hiking boots, as the wool can buffer a lot of moisture. The consequently less softened skin is thus much better protected from blistering. This property is particularly important because the membrane pores of waterproof shoes quickly clog up, as shoes cannot be washed in the washing machine to clear the pores again.
