As the name suggests, the Ortovox Alpine Pro Glove is a glove for ascents in high alpine terrain. Equipped with thin recycled merino wool padding on the back of the hand and a wind and waterproof membrane, it's just the thing for peak baggers. The palm, reinforced with double-layered goatskin, is robust and grippy in icy conditions. The thumb and index finger are protected from abrasion by additional reinforcements. The waterproof merino glove is the ideal compromise between good grip agility and cold protection. It is therefore also suitable for tours in difficult terrain or for ice climbing. The High Alpine Glove also performs well on ski tours or freeriding in spring.
