The Ortovox Merino Fleece Grid Hoody is a functional women's midlayer with a waffle structure and merino wool on the inside. The channel-like surface on the inside creates warming air pockets, and the capillary effect (moisture wicking from larger to smaller surface) ensures excellent breathability. The merino wool can also absorb a lot of sweat and release it to the outer layer. In addition, the waffle construction saves material, thus reducing weight and pack size. The Merino Fleece Hoodie features one small and one large chest pocket where you can store your hiking essentials. An ergonomic cut and high stretch complete the comfortable fit. The Ortovox Fleece Grid series was developed in Bavaria and manufactured in the European Union under FairWear® Standard. The merino wool comes from certified mulesing-free sheep farming in Tasmania.
