Swisswool Classic Glove Leather
This felted Ortovox glove has a supple goat leather trim on the palm that offers good grip even in cold weather. The leather also protects against abrasion and makes the felted glove more durable. The folded cuff at the wrist protects against snow getting inside the sleeve and keeps the pulse area warm. The felted wool keeps snow and moisture out for a long time and is also very wind-resistant. Even if the Ortovox Swisswool Classic Glove Leather does get wet, the Swiss mountain sheep wool still insulates. Felted gloves were therefore used in the early years of alpinism for extreme mountain tours and expeditions and have a long tradition in the mountains.
