The ultralight Ortovox men's vest with Swisswool Light filling is the ideal thermal layer for ski touring, mountaineering, running, or simply walking. The crucial advantage of wool insulation is that it hardly loses any warmth even when damp, whereas down can lose up to 80% of its warmth when wet. The Ortovox Swisswool Piz Vial Vest is therefore perfect for strenuous activities in winter and also provides warmth during resting phases (e.g. at the summit or on the ski lift). The durable PERTEX® outer fabric is almost windproof and highly water-repellent.
