Piz Boe Swisswool Light Vest Women
The Ortovox Swisswool Piz Boe women's vest features Swiss virgin wool in an even thinner, lighter version. At only 60 g/m², this wool insulation vest is not only lightweight but also extremely packable, making it ideal for ski touring and alpine mountaineering as a warming mid-layer or as an outer layer during ascents.
Ortovox uses the elastic and breathable MERINO NATURETEC LIGHT zonally, as well as the wind and snow-resistant PERTEX® QUANTUM outer fabric. Ortovox developed the Piz Boe vest for demanding alpinists who value the best thermal insulation even in damp conditions. The close-fitting, elasticated hood protects the head from rapid cooling. The merino stretch inserts on the back ensure maximum freedom of movement and breathability. Two front pockets are positioned so that they can be easily accessed even with a backpack and can hold large items. There is also a smaller chest pocket for small essentials.
