The ultralight Ortovox Piz Vial vest for women with breathable Swisswool insulation is the ideal thermal layer for ski tours, mountaineering, running, or simply for walking. The wool insulation has the crucial advantage of barely losing warmth even when wet, whereas down can lose up to 80% of its warmth when wet. The Ortovox Swisswool Vest is therefore perfect for strenuous winter activities and also provides warmth during periods of rest (e.g., at the summit or on a ski lift). The durable PERTEX® outer fabric is almost windproof and highly water-repellent.
